About Us
Better Service to Community (BSC) aims to help vulnerable and lonely elderly individuals who find the later phase of their life challenging. By making an impact on their lives with compassion and empathy, we address concerns of the senior members of the community for their well-being. Our mission is to make the world a better place by creating an environment for vulnerable individuals so that they feel protected, loved and cared for.
The inspiration for BSC comes from the life of Dr Bikram Singh Chandok, late beloved son of our founder Dr Kawal Mohan Chandok, who worked tirelessly for the betterment of the community.
The founder of BSC Dr Kawal Chandok with co-founders Ms Clare Millar and Prof Suraksha Gupta strive to improve the quality of life and support the agenda of the government that tries to care for UK citizens with limited resources.
Our Aim
Aim of BSC is to draw adults and youth towards social development and encourage them to be a part of the life of elderly or those who feel left out in a helping way so that they consciously lead a healthy and a productive life. The curiosity of founders of BSC to reduce suffering and inequality encouraged them to start on this journey and on the way many more got engaged because everyone wants to contribute to the cause in a meaningful and impactful manner, using experience and resources available.
